Second barra trip

My brother is visiting from the UK, his fifth trip here but only his second barra trip and he was taken out fishing the Ord by legendary Kununurra local Dick P.
He only managed a single fish......but what a fish measuring 127 cm ......I wonder how many serious barra fishermen would give their eye teeth to hook into such a stunning fish

Fished with Dick up there a couple of times. Real gentleman of a bloke and really has those big Barra properly sorted out.
127 is a fish most will never see in their lifetime.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

It was all down to Dick's knowledge and skill
in putting him onto the fish, even so it truly is a fish of a lifetime, measured twice with separate tapes to verify its length. I still cannot believe it as it is by far the largest Barra I have ever seen

Fished deep on heavy braid at night is all I know
