Secret Harbour

I'm considering hitting secret harbour beach this Saturday night, seeing as though they are predicting 20knots SSE pretty much blowing across the surf beach, would it be worth the effort or be to painfull? I haven't fished the area at all, has anyone has much sucess with tailor over that way?
