Seen some crazy stuff

i have seen some crazy stuff over the time while driving trucks but the other day i was a bit surprised seeing a reasonable boat with some high end fishing rods and reels sitting in the rod holders on top of the bimini. could just see them getting caught up on trees. turning up to their destination with rods missing or all the line missing off the reels after hooking onto branches.
Anyone else seen similar or other crazy stuff

I forgot to pull mine a couple times when I had the bigger boat but realised pretty quick it could end up being an expensive mistake.
There is no way I would travel purposely with them up there.

Last year I reversed the boat
Last year I reversed the boat into the garage of the holiday house we were staying in with rods in the rear holders. One snapped $280 T-Curve and ripped two guides out of my $480 Catalina with it bent 90 degrees backward. How the Catalina didn't snap I'll never know but she's pulled in a few big fish since so got away with a miracle.

Here's a beauty from this
Here's a beauty from this arvo.
My dad decided to sell all of our childhood Shakespeare and Jarvis Walker combos on Gumtree and he gets a message from some prick last weekend accusing Dad of stealing his boat and gear and selling his stolen gear on Gumtree threatening to drop around and retrieve it all. The old man eventually sends him a text offering to discuss it at the Police station and heard nothing back.
Today the old lady pulls in the driveway and there's two burley Cops already there and they start asking her about Dad selling stolen fishing gear on Gumtree. Mum explains that Dad is a 42y career firefighter and straighter than an arrow and gives them the details of Dad's station where he's on shift today to discuss it. The Cops laughed it off and said they won't even bother taking it any further.
