Selling a used Craypot-ID engraved

As the title suggests.
Thinking of selling an old Craypot of mine that has my ID engraved into the top Jarrah frame. I know it's pretty trivial but should I grind it off before selling or leave it to the buyer?
Thoughts.

I would leave it as is. If
I would leave it as is. If the new owner is ever questioned about it, it is much more transparent for him to be able to say, yes i bought it from this person... and the authorities can track you down and confirm his story. If you grind it off, he has a pot with an id ground off it and he has to try to explain that.... always looks worse.
