Shallow water Sambo off Mindarie

Whilst fishing for Silver Trevally had a couple of Samson fish chase them so decided to put over live bait (rock cod of some type) and wham did not take long to hook up. Estimate around 15kg. Had to use heavy gear as kepy getting reefed

Always good to get a sambo in shallow water. If you have the gear to stop those bloody horses.
I hate it when they turn up and you havent come prepared with something that can pull them up.
Good work.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !
