I got no problems with the guys catching and releasing sharks down the beach, but this has gone too far. They guys need to be caught and prosecuted.

So to take a 1000kg marlin n drag it around to weigh and get a mould is different from taking a shark and cutting its jaws out, nah I think not.

i dont think you could compare the 2 that way, as far as taking a marlin of that size or any size for that matter im not a fan just for a mould and the shark of that size is actually protected but if your going to take a shark of legal size for food i have no probs, i have taken a few over the last month myself

Conspiracy theory time
The timing of this when the greens groups are beginning to claim victory over shark fishing in WA is a bit suspicious. I wouldn't put it passed one of these groups to have caught these shark themselves to leave a very public final nail in the coffin sitting on a popular swimming beach.

However there is now talk about a post on F/B yesterday that had the sharks in the background of the picture. It has since been removed of the page by the person who put it up. I hope someone got a screen shot of it .
This is getting some real bad publicity and is only going to hurt the rec fishing community

The alleged culprits have been named.
The accused have been named on "The Fishing Shed" Facebook page.
Apparently the culprits sent snapchat photo's to his mates while comitting the act. The person making the accusations has been advised to locate the evidence and provide it to Fisheries.

Dumped is probably exactly that doesn't look like they were killed or cut up there to me and to catch 3 tigers take the jaws out and process on a metro beach even at night is a fair stretch media stunt for sure i reckon not like shark activists to do strange shit aye.
