Shifted camp , back to being a Carnarvonite again, Missus got offered a job that offered better pay, conditions etc that was too good to pass up so packed the bus, car and boat up and did the move yesterday.
Only drawback was blowing a tyre on the bus near Overlander and ringing Beaurepaires to find out they had no 1100r x 20 tyres in WA so the smaller 10 00 x 20 spare went on and got us through. Then came the unloading---its surprising how much stuff we accumulated in the 3 years in Shark Bay that we had to sell , give away or chuck out as we planned to live in bus again but mate offered his fully furnished house with a driveway that fits a 10 metre bus, 5 metre boat and Triton with room to spare

Bugger about the tyre mate, I know how frustrating that can be. I replaced all mine earlier on last year. But you never know when there’s a stick waiting to rip open a side wall.

Steerers
Replaced the steerers when I left Carnarvon 3 years back so they were good, don't know how old the drives were as they were on it when I bought it some 17 years back, though only done at most 3000km on them
