looks like i need a new reeljust wondering witch is betterfor multi uses thesperos 8000 orthe diawa exceler 4500 just going on a 6 foot boat rod thanks

if it is new exceler 4500 da then id go for that, but if i was you id spend the extra bit if coin and look into the saragosa 8000, its a beefed up spheros and peforms great for its price

ive got an exceller 4000 and its suprisingly tough for its size, good lil reel but if it is in your price range i would go the saragosa for sure, unbeatable value!

Had a saltist,bought a saragosa,sold the saltist! the saltist is a fantastic reel but it just didnt feel as good as the saragosa,or as smooth,sold it because i knew i would always take the Shimano out.
