Shore Jigging Rod

Hi All

Was hoping to get some opinions on shore jigging rods you have used or own.

I'm not too interested in rods over $400 as they go beyond my budget.

Cheers

Sam

Just got a Daiwa Jig caster

Just got a Daiwa Jig caster for a friend. Not a model brought into Aus so ordered from Rakuten and landed it for about $180. My friend is very happy with it. It has a Fuji Sic tip with alconite guides so it's a good compromise if you can't afford all sic guides. very light for the casting weight range. I think I got him the 96mh. Google and have a look.

The problem you face is not knowing what the rod is like held in your hand. It's action and feel are important. Majorcraft is a good brand but they have many models to choose from. Another brand that is here is Black Hole which have a few nice ones but they are approaching your budget. Another compromise is Daiwa Sensor. Apparently there's a new model coming and BCF etc were getting rid of current stock. My nephew bought 2 10ft ones for $160 ea. Good bargain. If you check around some store may still have stock.

 Thanks mate.

I'm hearing some good stuff about Major Craft so giving it strong consideration. Going to check out the NS Black hole cabin II this weekend too though.

Thanks for your input
