Site out of control

Tell you what I have noticed over the last few weeks, the amount of new people on the site unreal. Great to see the site is going from strength to strength. And a lot of people joining in with comments and pics well done all. Don't get alot of time myself anymore but I still enjoy reading through some of the topics .

as a newbie to the site and
as a newbie to the site and fishing in wa, all the info is very interesting and very helpfull, from rigs to tides/winds to places and i love seeing what all the better fisher people catch as it gives me hope just maybe 1 day i'll get lucky, its all much appreciated , thanks every1.

got to agree with all comments. i have been a member for a couple of years now and to see so many newcomers to the site is great. lots of good info , stories and fishy pics to check out. i have met lots of nice people through this site and most make you feel welcome

Been a member for around 3 years and have been rapt since joining. Met a lot of new friends and learnt some new tricks as well.
Good to see the newbies putting their two bobs worth in instead of sitting on the fence and letting the same people do it .
Some good and sometimes heated discussions have come about and thankfully Adas and his helpers haven't needed to close them down.
Thanks to all the crew involved for doing a top job.

Biggest draw for me has been the diverse cross section of the fishing community that we have and the ability to spar, debate, but still remain civil and respect each other.
I enjoy a good verbal spar on a topic and then still being friends with the otherside and being able to have a drink and laugh about it later...
The mix is right ;-)

Sat on the fence for about 2 years reading. Then saw a question I had an answer to and thought what the heck.
It is my mental break at work and nice to help and be helped, because fishing is like golf. Nobody hits the perfect shot all the time, some are just better at it. And you ALWAYS learn more and there is endless options to explore.
Bring on some more.

Great Site !
Since joining a few months back, have enjoyed a great range of topics posted and look forward to meeting a few of you in person out on the water.
I think the only downer is the demise of poor young (fisherman 1992) , which is a pity as he was in obvious need of some guidance/knowledge and an english lesson.
Anyway keep up the great work !

comments, as old fart and me haven't been on the water much the last 10 months due to his cataract in his eye and my mum passing away, so sit here reading with envy some of the older and new posters especially the comments from up north while I sit here freezing my you know whats off and all you fisho's up north are nice, warm and cosy hahah damn I missed fisherman 1992, always miss out on juicy stuff hahah last to be told

Certainly pumping again
We are back doing record numbers of visits and page views.
The site suffered a bit of a slump as many of you would recall from a few months back when we changed servers and had massive technical issues. I am glad to say that despite that unfortunate setback we are now well and truly pumping again.
Great to see the steady stream of new members, and more importantly the fact that a lot are joining in with discussions.
We try very hard to keep the forums, fishing related, helpful, vibrant and most importantly "respectful". The best thing is that the members here tend to self moderate to a great extent which means Adam, Colin, Tim and I don;t need to do much in the background these days, which is good for my stress levels. (hehehe)

since Adam got the new server, the speed on the site is fantastic as well, as sometimes you have 700 guests and 80 members, site is flying with speed, excellent for all of us. Think the speed also has contributed to more people coming on as well. Just wish the forum on on the CPBA club site would fire up hahahah, hopefully it will.
