Gday i was wondering if anyone else feels the same way about the legal size of crabs is the legal size too small? I went crabbing the other day with my brother and the kids down Manduah and yes we did get our 20 but i usually dive for them and only get big ones. Here is a pic of 20 in the esky but they seem small to me but i assure you they were all legal size or bigger.

In South Australia, they have to be measured by the carapace (inside the spines). This is a better way, as you get a bigger crab. I feel embarrassed taking these little, legal crabs.

Big or Small
The experience for the kids and the moment of the picture is priceless! Great shots.
