SNAPPED SKEG
Submitted by Septimus on Sun, 2020-12-06 08:25
Had a mishap backing boat into neighbour's dwy - snapped the skeg (175 Suzuki 4 stroke) - FU#K!!
Still have the snapped off piece - does anyone know of anyone north of river who can weld it up and straighten it up for me?
I would appreciate any welder/repairer suggestions...
Cheers.

Used a skeggard on my Honda when I damaged it, works great, looks good and only took me half hour to fit, and it covered my f#%k up nicely

Thanks for the responses and suggestions fellas!
Dano, thanks mate. Don't know why I didn't think of Jim at Marineline!?! He's a good bloke and helped me out in the past with stuff, I'll go and see him.
Gunnawundai, I really appreciate your offer mate. But I have dual engines, and the end product needs to be a match with the other motor.
Thanks again all.
Cheers.
