first guy gets it all wrong and hard, then watch the next....

hows these guys doing it single handed... bloody hell makes me ashamed of what I do with a crew of four...lol

These waterman Rodeo's are good fun among crab and cray boats in many small fishing communities, would this not be a great show and fun for our areas in the next two month dersmal ban at the end of the year???

would be a fantastic thing here, I've seen how some of the cray boys come in at Leeman on a very low tide, very very good, you can see experience compared to cowboys hahahahah

problem is we have far too many fun police that would ban this and say it's illegal and promotes undafe water pratices etc,...

but would be a good thing to bond the Pro-fishermen and Rec fishermen in a friendly comp and show people what skills some of these skippers have.

now now down kitty and out away the claws...lol

remember most of those boats are still have a single prop on a shaft! not twins that are easy to swing around and do water dougnuts...lol

Anyone thats had a single shadt screw and rudder will know it's  a dam side harder than a single outboard or even stern drive leg, as you need the water volume through the prop over the rudder to get things moving!

the old man used to have a 24ft wooden clinker trawler with tiller back in pommyland with the single shaft and big rudder.  i remember it being nice and easy to dock . the rudder was that much larger that you didn't need constant power like an outboard to steer , just as long as you were moving.
