Soft plastic circle hooks

Right, I caught a few fish on plastics in kalbs. But I got a lot of hits on the plastics when rod

was in rod holder! (I was busy day dreaming) and didn't get a hook up, soooo I was wondering if anyone uses circle hooks or anything like that? Or of the J hooks which ones are the go! Think the ones that I have are no good!

Yeah pretty much,I havnt got a photo to show you but yeah it's just a single jig assist hook looped off the main hook/ hook eye. Some guys use assist cord and some just use mono. It's come up on here a while ago, so a search might come up with some info/pics, but could of been a while ago so may be had to find

Double hook at the back? Do you hook them through the plastic or let them dangle around?

Sorry that picture is a little mis leading to what I said but was all I could find. Just use a small assist hook rather then a double/treble hook. Just hook it lightly through the back of the plastic 2/3 or 3/4 down the plastic and make sure plenty of hook point hanging out. You also want some slack on the stinger line so that the plastic can still move as freely as possible.
