good stuff. always a thrill
good stuff. always a thrill getting your first on plastics. i remember my first on plastics, a 47.5cm skippy from the marina. got me hooked on using them (pardon the pun). had some good hits on the placcies yesterday at hillaries with DieHard, but couldnt convert hits into hookups. i got stitched up by a big skippy or the like at the fuel jetty at spinnakers too. ive had my best luck on 3" powerbait bass minnows in pearl watermelon and also had luck on squidgy fickbaits in pilchard colour.

Hey good job.
I was their this morning ...i was out at the end of the rocks near the light house caught a lot of Skippys and Herring. It was a fantastic day for a fish at hillarys. I even caught a Herring with a shiny hook... no bait needed:)

Well done mate. My first fish on a lure was a blowie! Second was a little trumpeter. Been striking out with them ever since!

Yea once you master fishing
Yea once you master fishing with lures it is amazing how many more fish you catch than when you first start fishing. I think its because you eventually learn what lure actions are best for ceratin fish and so on.
