sorry but its anouther bent st boat ramp
wifey and me were at the bent st boat ramp today to walk our aussie bulldog. trying to pull in to the carpark an officious bloke in a straw hat is trying to wave us away with his fist clenched. backed out ended parking up on the grassy area . Straw hat had both ramps blocked off with a twin trailer semi heaps of vehicles were trying to pull in with there with boats behind them causing a log jam. I walked past him and said " how much longer is this pandemonium going to go on his response " whats your problem you old c*** " I hit the roof and gave him a spray explaining how the 6 week project was now into its 4th week and they hadn't finished the right hand side yet. response " doing our f***g best" me "well your best isn't very good and if you swear at me again I might be pushing 60 but will put you on your arse" about then the bent street brains trust all stood up clapping shouting its about time they were told . I got home rang the bloke at council that is in charge of the job and he was beside himself , seems he is going to give him a have a word with him about dealing with the public , and make sure they double the amount of blokes working on the job

He should have kissed the feet of a VFL player! .
I'm surprised you didn't set your dog onto him..
Really ... look at it from his point of view ... if he had 20 people during the day give him lip or attitude how would you respond. Like he said he is trying to do his job and having joe public giving him lip he was most likely frustrated.

Hmmm, sounds like the old
Hmmm, sounds like the old C&*%T that walked through my bunted off work area last Saturday which was blocking the footpath. Old C%$#T decides he can shift the bunting and walk through with his dog. When I explain that it's a work area and unsafe decides to start giving me a spray that he can do what he likes. Well I returned fire with a your a
F&^$#$ing idiot etc and and an old C&^%t who should know better. His wife got the message from the start and skirted the job wide. Btw we had a HIAB on site lifting into place accross the footpath a half ton beam. So for once I kinda agree with Yoni, we get sick of fucking idiots walking through our work areas. Some actually move the signage to get through. We are evolving

his point of view
hey micheal funny was down at the ramp this morning they they all had hard hats on safety boots and safety glasses oh yeah they have got rid of those dangerous angle grinders that didn't have safety guards on them , I could go on the gen set they are using isn't earthed (my next stop elect inspectors office tomorrow none ne of there portable tools are taged inspected either ) but will say the work force has trebled , they all gave me the glare I don't give a rats swear at me when asking a reasonable question and expect a spray , dog was 400m down the beach with wifey as I had got a coffee from the best coffee house in rocky the bent street café . Just want to remind you its 2015 if little out fits like bullet boats and manduraha boat restorations have to comply with the testing of their elecy portable tools so should a big company working out in the public , sorry mike they crossed the wrong bloke

Does not require earthing
AH another non electrical expert & self appointed inspector
Portable gensets don't require earthing as they did in the 50's
Check;
AS/NZ 3010: 2005 Generator standards in Australia &
AS/NZS 3760:2010 In-Service inspection & testing of electrical equipment.

Man
Let them do there job. Imagine if they loose contract. Then others have to apply for contract. Or due to public safety totally block both ramps. Then people would spew. After all it is a construction site.cyclone fence totally blocked. Pmsl if they did.:):):) Man Peter more you push issue longer it will take. You hardly youse your boat others do. I hardly use that ramp. Doesn't bother me.

Couldn't see anything about the job taking 2 weeks per side or any finish date on the info sign near the ramp repairs, just said repairs are being done for the 2015/2016 summer boating season.
