BCF and Supacheap...
...and most likely any other auto parts store certainly carry marine wheel bearings, and usually hub assemblys as well.

The weekend
Just gone was on the return trip from the ramp when we stopped to drop of the decky and have a quick beer, looked down and one of the outer wheel bearings had exploded and was no longer existant, lucky for the disk brakes holding the wheel on.
So a quick google search on the dunbier site to find the difference between the bearings and such,
I ended up with 45mm axels and the stud pattern is ford. #$%#$&^*^*
Almost put the boat on the market,
Ended up with a new bearing set at $20 they did have a complete set including stub axle, bearings, cap and wheel nuts for $49.99 which i though may not be a bad idea for a long trip.

No
Some are ford some are holden, not sure how to tell apart but the dunbier site had both types.
When i purchased the boat the bloke told me about the ford pattern and when i done a quick search and check the axel it measured up at 45mm.
My boat is 5.2 so the axle size will vary i would think.

apparently there are 3 diff stud spacings
63mm holden ht
67mm ford
71mm holden hq
measured from centre of one stud to next (not through axle centreline)

Not trying to throw a spanner in your works
but it would pay to have a go at replacing at least one of your wheels bearings.A guy i know had dramas on the side of the road on the way to exmouth because his outside bearing was holden and the inside was ford or it may have been the other way around.Screwed him over either way.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Heading to
Cervantes soon, so just checked all my bearings, springs adjusted the brakes slightly etc. I will be taking 2 spare hubs( 1 new and 1 used), the used one is packed with grease and bearings wrapped in gladwrap, labelled and ready to go, the other new hub just has the cones pressed in, 3 spare dry bearing kits, grease (tub), 5 x wheel nuts, bearing caps and 2 spare wheels with tyres of course. All this for a tandem trailer. Hopefully I dont forget the tools to put it all together ;-)

TRAILER PARTS
Last year we did a trip to Ningaloo and took the usual bearings, hubs and spare wheels, but also took a couple of spare springs, good job too coz on the track out of Ningaloo we busted a spring on my mates single axle trailer. A trolley jack on a piece of ply and 20mins later we were on our way. PS Dont forget the tools to do the job.

Check your bearings.
before any long trip pull off your hubs and check your bearings. If the bearings have been rusty or damaged then damage to the axle is possible too.
I tow long distances and like to carry at least 2 spare hubs with quality bearings already fitted a lubed, in a plastic bag, back in its box. A full spare axle and springs is a good option as well if rougher roads are expected.
Spare rollers are good to have also
