Spearfishing Exmouth land based

Hi everyone,
heading to exmouth from the 8th - 13th of April from Queensland. Just wondering where I would be able to spearfish as I am land based. Also what should I expect to encounter? Don't dive very deep only like 6m max but would love to get in for a paddle while I'm over there.

I might be wrong .. but i dont think your allowed to spear in any of the marine park waters . So thats probably close to the whole west side . Pretty sure you can spear on the east side tho

yes, you are a bit wrong there feral
you cant spear cod or wrasse in the marine park. you can still spear spanglies, jacks, mackerel, some parrot fish, etc etc, but only down to Tantabiddi. you cant spear (or fish) in the sanctuaries.

Hey if it lines up one day when ur there mate ill be heading over the other side of the gulf hitting the shoals over there if your keen to come for a run. Varies from 3/7 mtrs
