spiral wrap jigging rods

Does anyone have any experience with spiral wrap rods ?
Loaded one up in store and it felt great , just not what i'm used to. Any pros or cons with these rods ?

They work great. Havent found a con as such. Prevents tip wraps and rod twist.

I'd never heard of spiral wrap rods until I'd read this post.
Any suggestions on decent makes and models that are reasonably priced?

Cheapest spirals I can think
Cheapest spirals I can think of are the jigstars. Not sure on price but. Most other spirals I can think of are around the $700 mark

Personally I find them far better for jigging.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced one, check out the new Temple Reef X Gravitate range. I don't think there's a better spiral wrapped slowpitch rod on the market at under $400.
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Spiral Wraps Rock
I have a nice jignesis spiral wrap cost around the $450 mark - would not go back - light, responsive and powerful with a great parabolic action.
Beware the Shimano J Types - they are marketed in some quarters as spiral wrap but really they are just a standard composite blank with a tape overlay to make it look like they are wrapped.
