Hi guys just purchased our first boat 5m fibreglass. Considering getting a Minn kota or Jarvis walker spotlock/virtual anchor. Is anyone using one of these ? Chasing some advice before investing. Cheers in advance.

I've hed 3 minn kota and 1
I've hed 3 minn kota and 1 Watersnake.
All 3 minn kota's packed it in at around 3 years. Water Sanke still going after 4 years.
The Kota's are good units but not worth the extra coin.
Tip: Make sure they are well secured during travel. Vibration kills them.

Do Jarvis Walker actually do Spotlock?
or are they just a regular electric. Only two brands of electrics I've heard of do actual spotlock linked to your GPS, Minn Kota and Motorguide. great when they work, but expensive and you'll need a hefty one to keep you on spot with any wind.
