A few weeks back I caught some (good size) on the seagrass beds on the eastern side of Little Island just offout of Hillarys (you can see it on google maps). Was pretty windy and choppy so I used a drogue to slow the drift. Lighter conditions seem to help but ideally early morning or late afternoon rather than overhead sun.

If you are land based, the north wall at hillary's marina about half way down to the disabled platform was producing some decent squid a couple nights back. Would be worth a shot.
Squid are visual hunters, so I always tend to produce more when the visibility in the water is good (clear) and I generally find the best time is a couple hours after the sun has come up ~8am-10am, but you can catch all times of the day. Conditions don't have to be calm, the less wind there is the easier it is to effectively use your jigs (if you are new to jigging).
