STriped Trumpeter and...... a blowie?

First time out at the North Mole a couple of days ago and had a few striped trumpeter - was a just a bit of fun with the old man.

What's this other one? Blowfish?

Looks like a Butterfish.

No good for eating but make pretty good strip bait.

Little buggers are experts at hammering your baits eh.

Cheers folks, only hooked one of them but yeah, they were nailing the bait every cast.

Will hang onto them as bait next time.....

 

Saw plenty of blowies down the edge of the river today so can pick them out now as well.
