Just from a jigging perspective Nealez, I forgot to ask what type of fishing you would be looking at with this combo. The talica feels like a nice reel don't get me wrong but I can only comment from a jigging perspective & OJ hands down kicks it's arse
Have the same rod with a Ocea Jigger 1500. Great combo that has knock over many sambos and few trout etc up north.
Use to have the talica 8 two speed on it but didn't rate the reel. The Ocea Jigger is heaps better IMO. If you do go a Talica 8 go the single speed the two speed seams to be not as smooth as the single speed.
i will fourth the ocea jigger, i have just recently purchased a JM evolution titanium 150 and an ocea jigger 1500nr upon reccomendations, haven't had a chance to use this combo yet but love it already

Agreed - and not just because I'm selling it.
It is a perfect match for that reel
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

The TAC8 single speed is a good reel, but it is a 50lb reel.
I'd use something smaller on a PS150.
