Sunset pinky!

I had to go to Tworocks to catch up with my stepbro and a mate in the arvo. Thinking this, i thought bugger it i'll take the boat and we'll do a half day fish especially with such great weather. We launched after lunch with no que which was great and fished a few spots. The water conditions made for a quick trip out and the arvo produced some good fish. We got our bag limit of dhufish (i released mine), baldys, skippy, heaps of big bluespot flathead, black bums and some smaller pink snapper with this baby coming up on my driftbait gear!
8kg weighed pinky, a good fish but a rushed average pic

Great fish Ryan
It has really captured the sunset on its scales. Driftbaiting comes out on top again. Great stuff.

pinky!
Thanks guys, he was a keeper but i released other fish yesterday so i never feel guilty when i keep a good fish periodically. That pink put up a great fight and the boys were saying sambo to sh!t stir but i pegged it as a pink....hit like a freight train.
Yeh Pete, you take a good pic and it's truely hard to get a good pic to a magazine standard/mine when most peopl just want to fish and rush pics....we'll catch up soon mate!
No other pics but they're big suckers and we kept a fair few and released plenty also....we got probably 6 or more in total. I find them on the outskirts of lumps that're surrounded with sand and a longer drift past the grounds normally gets them when they're in the area....not always......ps where you find one you'll get more normally.
Cheers
