Swan Flattie

Went for a wade along the river foreshore, in one of my fav flattie spots yesterday arvo. Landed a lovely little Skippy, and a few small flathead, when on one of those "one more cast's" my Silver Halco Scorpian get smashed by a decent flattie only 3m from the rod tip in full view! Was awesome to see this bloke scream out of the murky bottom and nail this lure, really smashed it!! Landed him after a few thumping headshakes, dragged him up to the grassy bank for a snap, and let him head off to terrorise other baitfish! He went close to 60cm.
This spot has produced flathead for me consistently over the years, and some of the skippy pulled from here are monsters too!
