Swan crabs

Hey guys
Well this time of year i try head out just before xmas (Day or 2) and try pick up a feed of crabs for xmas day.
Usually i head out off mandurah, but from all reports it seems they may not be big enough before xmas.
Drove down the Fwy on the weekend and nocticed boats netting along the fwy.
Just wondering where is a good spot to head, and are they getting any good crabs in the river at the moment.
Saw the report from one of the FW members when they went for a dive, but curious to know if any one been trying the nets?
Cheers
Bodie

My brother was out last
My brother was out last wednesday, near mosman park, and they got 3 unsersized and one berried female in 3hrs. Not really worth it.

not much good
We dropped 6 crab nets in the water on Friday night while we were trawling for Tailor. We dropped them in near Mosman Bay and only got 1 undersize female (returned obviously) within about 2 hours.
There was one other bloke there with a tinnie dropping nets in as well but I didn't see him get any keepers either. Plenty of Chopper Tailor about though!!! We landed about 20 - 25 Tailor in the space of about 1.5 hours. Most were about 25 - 28cm so they went back to fight another day.

Still waiting
Bagged this beauty last summer but only had luck catching em with a dive tank at night recently. Late start but they're there alright. Give it a few weeks!

Went for a dive last night just south of Black wall - saw about 20 crabs but most looked on the small to just sized. So not alot around currently.
Plenty of prawns though
