Swan Crabs yesterday!

I do love a feed of crabs and have been doing well in Cockburn Sound but just needed my Swan fix!
Went out yesterday in the deeper water/lower reaches and got our 20 in about 5 hours................some stonkers Blues amongst them!
Great day on the water and the crabs were full of meat

its been insane this year ryan to see the quality of crabs in the river. have a spot down near freo and average size is 130 to 135 mm across the top! its so healthy atm down there heaps of females full of eggs constantly and the amount of just under size males is off tap! ill throw back at least 30 just under size males in a night! very special spot this one!

Went out yesterday near the brewery and got 12 in about 2.5 hours with 2 stonkers. Was surprised to see so many up that far at this time of year. Made for a good dinner last night. Good work Ryan

You've got crabs
Nice work mate. Good to see some variety in your fishing. Now we need to see some crab traps dropped down to 400-500m while you're out there and see what comes up.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
