Canning
Looks like a ways up the Canning to me. I used to be able to hear the croakers during evening walks with the missus.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

i would say just past the old
i would say just past the old fish market reserve that was caught
the mullet and boney herring are now starting to get in decent size schools up here at caversham and wont be long untill the mulloway start to cruise up this way.

Hey you must be Jimmy's mate he told this story he said you went over their line with the pontoon LOL!
He said he thought they were using a float? Wonder what bait they were using?
Very impressive catch, during daylight too.

Definately in the swan and there was heaps of baitfish action in the area. If we only had some bigger gear.
It was around 530pm -6 pm that it was caught so late arvo.
Didn't see what bait they were using but they were using a float. They're asian so prolly used a cast net to grab some bony or mullet and used it live.

Was this location beyond the Tonkin hwy towards Midland or between the Tonkin and Perth, just interested how far upstream it was caught, clearly the mulla has been river bound for some period of time being brown in colour.
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Just up from from the Windan is my pick, sun says its west facing, not many areas up river do.
