I launched at point Peron with the kids and caught a few whiting and a good size skip at the back of GI. The swell at the boat ramp definitely seemed larger than what was forecast. Swell crashing on ramp and huge surge
The swell was large enough to claim another life of the capes...
Another daredevil photographer got himself too close to the black slippery granite i'd say....
Wouldn't have stood a chance, apparently managed to get back to the rocks where he might have thought he had a chance but that would have been short lived I'd say...
Again I heard it on the radio this was a "king" wave ( false reporting!!! ).... Nope just a large period, large swell and a set wave would have gobbled him up...
I'm not sure of the latest does anyone know if they've recovered a body?

I thought it was on point. The wind forecast was off early blowing more than forcast but swell seemed fine. Did you manage any fish?

forecast i read was 2 to 3m

Very big swell of Mandurah
I didn't go out but you could see some big swells breaking on the FFB, not the place for the fienght hearted.
