Footy trade action

Could be a big cull at the mighty Hawks i reckon,
Here are a few names i reckon might be elsewhere in 20
Gunston ( currency and lewis and Obrien are our fwds now )
Bruest ( hope not! but he's got currency )
Burgoyne ( hopefully goes again at Hawks )
Smith ( had a good season but again has currency )
Rough - Grazing along side Makybe Diva and Winx
Puopolo ( still seems to do his job IMO, might not hit the scoreboard but sets up a lot and provides the pressure in fwd half )
Greenwood, Mason Wood, Brad Hill are a few that could be sought after now Coniglio has re-signed....

You must have some idea Frost, NIC Nat interesting you throw him up Inc.
If I were WC I'd fuck him off and reap the rewards.
Dale could very well be on the money Frost, St Kilda threw the sink at a beaten up hannebrey. It's a failed system, paying overs for blokes sets your club up for long term failure.
Crows lose Cameron and end up with an overpaid Jenkins.
McGovern's package should concern WC supporters but he basically won you a gf so a pretty good return.

If Freo can land pick 2 for
If Freo can land pick 2 for Lachie Weller (who I still don't know who the phuck he is) then pick 6 for a bloke that can't hit a target isn't mission impossible I suppose.
NicNat on half his current contract or thereabouts is more valuable than any potential trade for which we'd get pittance in return. Frees up money to chase a gun and roll the dice on his body making a miracle recovery.
Maybe Unc thinks the Pies will need a ruckman for 2020? Yap, yap, yap lol

Pretty quiet weekend with no footy happening, think there’s a VFL game on somewhere. So it’s nearly trade month. Both your teams over there eying off TK. I’ve got a feeling he’ll either stay another year, or west coast will get him. Don’t think Freo is in the running, even though they are probably positioned better. The herald sun reckon they’ll get Saints first pick for Hill, plus perhaps a player. Nearly time to go get a feed of ruffies for tea, just about leaping onto the sand here at September beach.

If you think Nic Nat will stay for half his salary when his next knee could be games away AND you'll get a gun for half his wage $450k then you either have low expectations or you're dreaming Sonny.

It's hard to gauge what a player is worth.
Do I think Hawthorn paid overs at the time for Wingard, yep probably, but then Ryan Burton spent lots of time out with blown hammys so I guess it needs to be judged over a longer period.
Melbourne 2 X first round picks for Lever!!!
Asking 3 top 30's for a top 10 mid isn't over the top I wouldn't have thought. Geelong obviously will have to cough up a couple of trades also. If they happen to be not far above 30 then I can see both Freo or WC considering it...

Frost if Kelly isn't in the top 3 mids at Geelong can you please tell me the 3 that are in front of him....
I think you might have a case of talking him down because you want him cheap where as if he were an Eagle i think you might have more praise for what he's achieved this season....
He's well ahead of Selwood, Ablett couldn't play the mid minutes that Kelly does ( and doesn't ) Danger is 50/50 mid/fwd nowadays so really the only other one that you could even compare Kelly to is Duncan....
I think if you compare Duncans no.s to Kellys i think Kelly might come out well on top, The MVP awards are probably a clear indication of how his peers view him as a footballer...
He was voted second in the League mate, behind the bull Cripps and in front of Neale, Grundy and Fyfe....
To have his name thrown around with those other 4 tells me you have your Eagles blinkers on blind man....

No pace, no awareness, gets pushed off the ball too easily (when he actually tries a hard ball get) and is a turnover merchant and regularly gets other players nailed through panic handballs. He cost us 3 goals in the opening term on Friday and tried his hardest to cost us the GF last year in the dying stages after doing nothing all day.

Kelly a great fit at WC while they in a flag window, not sure he'll still be in his prime in another 3-5 years when Freo are realistically on the cusp...
Sounds like Freo might be losing Langdon, Hill and Blakely so I guess they'll have cash and trades to burn so if WC arent keen they might get him at a reasonable price if they dont seem too keen but he wants to come home...

Ah, no offense taken now i understand...
I thought someone was spreading shit about a boat forsale or something and somehow i was tied up with that...
I took the photo ( being a boat lover, perving on all the boats in the marina ) in Port Lincoln about 4 years ago...
I think its a GBB, 65-70ft...
Rob H would be the one to ask about this boat, i think he might have mentioned it ended up on the beach in Gerro, perhaps after a blow or something went wrong...
When the X-Lotto comes in i will own a few boats but one like this would be a dream, ramp at the back for dragging a couple of jetskis up and use it for a long range surf mission boat...
Obviously winning 40million i wouldn't be too concerned about the price of diesel!!

Strictly Business was built for the Boschettis in Gero.
I remember one blessing of the fleet in Gero, two boats had a drag race outside the fishermans boat harbour.
First boat-Conquest 65 named Desert Winds owned by the Prunsters up against a GBB 65 Rumours owned by the Rowlands.
Both hauled arse very impressive crayboats for the day, first really dedicated big bank boats.
Good chatting.

Kelly...
7 years is a long time even for a gun like Grundy.
Hope the Kelly deal gets done with WC as really dont like the discussion of paying overs to try and lure him to Freo. Nothing to lose for WC in the window and Kelly's midfield talent added to that is a no brainer to give up whatever picks they have.
Great player, but the way it would probably work for Dockers is lose Brad Hill and get top ten pick from Saints, then have to give that one plus pick 7 to Cats to get Kelly.
Lose Hill and 2 top ten picks - No thanks. Off to the draft for 2 hopefully talented youngsters from WA would be my ideal scenario.
Happy to have got Longmuir and kept the Suma squad at bay ...

West Coast aren't going to be fooled by the red herring prospect of Freo having any chance of getting Kelly. Geelong are dreaming if they think they'll get what they are asking for Kelly.
They paid fuck all for dangerfield and they'll be reminded of that.
They sound like they'll get Stevens for FA, has to be give and take.
They've been made to look like fools during the finals campaign, Taylor and Ablett playing on is questionable.
To maintain any dignity they won't be too harsh with Kelly I wouldn't think. He's going regardless, he's likely just to sit out a year if that's what it takes.
I'd like to see that if Geelong push too hard!

By paying overs WC will give up all their 19 draft hand and a little of 20 then blow their salary cap space for the emerging younger guys.
Already paying for a lil mistake in next years salary cap and probably take that to two with a suspension, I'm hoping 4 though, no place for tampering / drug cheats.
