hi all , just returned from our annual tailor trek.
As tailor lovers ( not in that way haha) would know , big swells and reef stalking dont mix.
We had only 2 good sessions out of a possible 5 , but still enjoyed the challenge.
wed ,thurs last week 2 metre swell ,thurs nite , and up till now 4 metre swell .
no weed , light to moderate winds.
as usual got totally stiched up by a couple of bigger ones ,but hope you can
smell the sea air in the following pics.( bait) ,sanmars and gardies, with ghost cotton
to hold them together.(transport) ,what else quad bikes.

Great Fish!
Sounds like you guys had a great trip.
What length is that Rovex "Big Boss" Rod? I have the 12 Footer and very happy with it.

big boss for the big boss
Its a 3.6 metre , for a medium priced rod its a good bit of kit, light to use , long enough for beach work, and strong
action for popping grumpy tailor out from under reef ledges.
casts poppers a mile , the only mod it needs is about 4 inchs off the butt," ma pass the hacksaw"

Yeh , 3.6 like mine, I find the butt length ok .
