went up just past two rocks yesterday bout midday. had a popper on for about 10 mins and got hooked up but lost it right near the beach, was pretty pissed off cause it was decent size. got a few more hits afta that but didnt land nething. i put a halco twistie on, was casting it for about 15 -20 mins with no hits and was about to try sumthin else, had a couple more casts and was letting it sink a little bit into a deep section in the reef and then bang! decent tailor. first one was 46 cm, pretty much got the next three 1 after another, lost a couple in between thoe. pretty successful session.

Nice fish. I find I easily
Nice fish.
I find I easily forget to mix the cast / retrieve style up when I'm lure fishing and having no joy, then I remember and kick myself that I didn't do it earlier.

Great Effort!
It's great when they come on and especially with lures. The signs up there are very promissing. Well done and great pics.

nice , but you've wrecked
nice , but you've wrecked your wall chart!
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.
