Tailor Off The Beach

Tailor off the beach this year has been the best for a while, been fishing the north metro beaches and catching some decent size fish, also the odd soapy mulloway and bream, but recently the mullet have moved in and been jagging a few of them lately.

thxs guys, yer they were descent size and tasty, my biggest tailor was 80cm and the biggest mullet was 52cm and really fat, its been my best metro fishing for a while , keen to get into the salmon soon, hope we see some salmon at perth metro beaches this year

Did'nt know mullet took
Did'nt know mullet took lures, I thought floating bread would be the way to go? Any style of metal slice up to the job or just one type?

try the spanyid sniper and
try the spanyid sniper and raider lures worked for me, iddnt get any on the halco twistys, most of the time i was using a spanyed sniper 50grm

Cheers, how's the retrieve, do you wind fast and keep them near the surface? I suppose you'd have to be right on their noses or do they chase them?
