what rod have you paired up your tac 8 with??
very keen to get an allround combo driftbait/heavy plastics
prob run 30 or 40lb. looks pretty good paired to the sabre

Got a hearty rise jig force on mine. Could go heavier, but I like the rod and it does what I want. Would probably go a JM otherwise (one of those silver ones) but I forget the rating (maybe its the same)

I have the Talica 10 2 sp running Daiwa boat braid PE4 matched with a Saltiga 60b pe4 OH Rod and a Talica 8 single speed running PE3 Tournament Accudepth matched with a G Loomis Pro Blue PBR 785C 20 - 40lb Rod. Both are great combos..
