Is there any good fishing to be had in Bali?

Heading to Bali these holidays for a week and was wondering if theres any fishing to be had landbased?
Im staying South Kuta.
I dont mind going out on a charter either if its not too dear.

Im just thinking maybe its all fished out?


Any help or information would be great.

hey schecky.. i went to bali in march and headed out on a charter innoosa dua  bout20 mins from kuta..done some trolling around the bay for 4 hours or so managed to hook a decent dollie but snapped the line . well worth a try i would advise to take ure own gear  the gear supplied was pretty dodge. cost me $100

Don't know of any landbased fishing there Rueben

But there are some spots that look pretty fishy.
I have heard the charters are ok.

We were meant to be going to Shark bay....but noooooooooooooooooo....no shopping there for my sister so we have to go bali now haha

I was mainly going to spend the time shopping and doing illegal things with BB guns haha
but i was just wondering if theres any fishing to be had.
