Tinnie pinkies

Hey everyone don't usually post but last night inspired from catching a dhuie with willy and some good advice my mate and I decided to hit up a local spot in my tinnie to try for some snapper. Without a sounder or GPS we thought we would compensate by burl eying the hell out of the water! Was there from around 4-630. We ended up bagging out and having to let the last fish go ( last picture ) which was 90cm. We ended up keeping 4 fish 2 around 7kg, 1 around 5kg and one around 6kg wasn't actually too confident at the start but it ended up being a gat short session ! Starting to think the tinnie and hard work is paying off
any idea what the weight of the 90cm fish would be ?

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Well done! Good to get these
Well done! Good to get these this time of year. Obviously good hope for people from the rocks with this upcoming storm/s!
Snapper can vary in weight massively. But generally a 90cm snapper should be around 8-9kg. Plus or minus either side depending on snapper though. Ive had a 97 that weighed 12kg, then one at 95cm that weighed 9.5kg. So there's some variation for you.
