Tinnie setup
Submitted by Tchampney on Fri, 2013-05-24 15:34
Hey all. Wanna setup my tinnie for night fishing in cockburn sound and also bottom bashing. It's a 4.3mtr brooker with a 40yamaha tiller steer. I currently have a garmin400c mounted on the left hand side of the back seat. Putting it in the shop tomorrow to get nav lights, deck light, 27mhz radio, junction box and storage facilities. After some help with the setup and outlay of all this. Any pics would be helpful too. Thanks!

Hey Tim .. most probably better if you load up a pic of your boat so people can have a squizz .

Hi Tim,I was in the save
Hi Tim,
I was in the save vote as you a couple of weeks back. I did a load of googling to see what other setups people have done but also got out in my tinny a fair bit to see what I think would work or not. I plan on taking my boat out solo a bit, but also with the missus and mates so need to have it setup so there are a couple of different options.
There has been a couple of threads on here, but a couple of sites I found useful which have fairly extensive threads were: Trailerboat, ausfish, fishraider, tackle box and bream master.
I picked up my tinny this morning from wakemaker after having a small pod made up for my electrics and steps added on the back, it came up a treat. Once i wire it up i'll post a pic. I still have a bit to go, such as the anchor well, rod holders and storage as Bruce pointed out, but will do this over time.
