Tips Needed -- Where are People Catching Crabs in the Swan Currently? PM Me.

I was going to get the tub out tomorrow to catch some crabs -- can anyone let me know where theyve been catching?

Any tips would be much appreciated -- Just PM Me.

Cheers.

Not around KK Bank. Lots of berried jennys, small jennys and a couple of undersized blues. Saw tonnes of floats being worked around the brewery but we backed ourselves to go deep and failed. Got a nice feed of fish though.

Good spot to try

A good spot to try is around the Leeuwin boat ramp.  Try dropping your pots near the water police depot. But NOT around the navigation channel! It is a high traffic area but produces decent crabs this time of year.

On another note, I was driving along Mount Bay road today around 1:30pm.  Watched all the boats having a good time.  Anyway, a boat that caught my attention looked like a 5m older style Chivers or Pacemaker half cabin.  It was literally "gliding" across the water, even though conditions looked quite choppy.  The boat just passesd the Narrows bridge and was heading downstream.  Would love to know make/model the boat is, if anyone here was skippering or a deckie on that boat.  There was 2 guys on it.  Boat had a white motor. Again, I am very impressed how the boat seems to glide across the water while other boats were bouncing up and down... haha
