Today’s effort

Being a nice husband I took my wife for out for a fish today and played skipper and deckie. Headed out to Hawkesbury Island which is about 15nm from TI. Rapala X-rap Magnum 30 did the damage today. She also collected a Barracuda that was a good 1400 and we decided to remove the lure boatside instead of it flipping a shitcake in the boat and taking off someone's toes... The fangs on this guy were like sharp pencils. Looks like we're doing it again tomorrow...:D

Not that clear Andy.

It's more of a milky greeny blue colour, there's lots of super clear water closer to the rock islands. No more bait fishing for us for the forseeable future.

It's a pity that they get ciguatera in the bigger ones. Looks like I'll be hanging out for one to get sharked so I can keep the head.....:D.

They're pretty sweet. She ordered another three yesterday ( two for me whoo hoo ! ) a couple o snoods and some new wide brimmed hats. Gotta cover up big time if I'm going to be spending lots of time on the water. An average day up here is putting five hours running time on the donk. Have put almost 35 hours on it in the last two weeks!.
