Tohatsu 2stroke

Anyone here own a small Tohatsu 2stroke? A guy I know wants to sell his Tohatsu 5hp 2stroke 2013 model. My dad has a 10ft Ali Tinny and needs a motor. Thoughts?

at that age, you will have no problems with the motor.
tohatsu are a respectable motor.
if the price is right, that would be a good match.

There a very good basic
There a very good basic motor I had a 70hp so so many hours on it its not even funny.
I now have the 9.8hp 2013 on my 12ft and its great and super light!

40HP
My father had a 40HP Tohatsu on his runabout for 35yrs. Did plenty of hours and got serviced about once every 5yrs. Noisy, but totally reliable.
