When he had his medical at Freo, they indicated the scans where good, in fact, didn’t even show a break. So he was out for 4 weeks with alledged break of the navicular bone. It has been said, 4 weeks holiday is what you get for your second drug failure. We know he’s had one, now maybe a second.

He apparently went and spoke with RTB some 3 years ago, and was told a few home truths at the time. Still got his nose out of joint from that it would seem. Freo weren’t interested anyway, the offer for pick 11 was done purely to see if Melbourne were watching.

Having 2 of his kids with severe medicle and learning disabilities and no family in geelong to help would warrant letting him go if he has asked. He said half way through the year to geelong that his wife is struggling and would be highly unlikely he would see out his contract.

Sounds like he has to lift his work rate and apply himself but with comparisons to Pendlebury and an awesome left foot user of the ball the initial pick 7 sounds right.
