Transducer choice

Hi all,
I am needing transducer for my broadband box I have connected to my Lowarance 7200 globalmap. The tranny that comes with a HDS7 is a Max 250W Peak to Peak (31W RMS) actual; 30,000W Peak to Peak analog equivalent W.
So, has anyone used an Airmar 600w TM and got a better pic than the TM that comes with a HDS7?
250W as to 600W, the 600w surely would be better, but things are not always as they seem. I guess what I am after is proof if the airmar 600w would perform any better through the broadband box ?

In my experience
the broader the box will normally lessen the performance of what is going thru it. Sorry I have nfi with regards to you question so this probably doesn't help.

Back when I had lowerance gear.I ran a 50/200 600 though a broadband then a b260 1 kl both worked ok
