transporting boats from east coast

Guys - I am assuming plenty of people on here have done this. IF so who did you use and would you use them again, also approximate cost, boat will be about 3 tonne and 8m long.

give this bloke a call, he

give this bloke a call, he may be keen to do it but it will be towed not trailered though it may be a bit big for him, nothing a 40c phone call doesn't sort.

Work has dried up in my usual field of Pontoon Boat manufacture and sales, and being self employed I need to diversify to stay alive!
So the need has arisen to look further afield for income, something that could work side by side with the other identities.
So we have started a small transport service operating up and down the east coast although we will deliver into SA but mainly Victoria, NSW and Qld.

We have competitive rates, and offer a personal service door to door!
Not that interested in depot drop offs, prefer door to door!
All items in our care are fully insured, our vehicle is track-able through our onboard GPS locator.

From ski boats and fishing punts, Cars, Utes, Boat Trailers, Jet Ski's, Motor Bikes, Adv bikes, Bikes with Sidecars, Outfits, you name it I'll transport it!

Have a large car trailer with winch (dead bikes, cars) and closed-in floor for protection, I have a cradle mount for individual motor-bikes when needed?

We can also cover, tarp or shrink wrap your item on request, to keep them in pristine condition for the trip!

Give me a call on 0419 482592 for a chat on your next transport job!

Times are hard and we need to do this to survive.

Thanks for your time guys, I appreciate it greatly.

boat transport

Fri, 2011-05-20 12:24

I recently was looking at transporting a boat from over east to perth and these guys in the link below were about the best quote i received.

They can put it on a flat bed truck so its not towed.

In the end i found one here in perth that im going to repower for a bit cheaper so didnt end up using them but i have heard good reports and was

going to utilise their services when the right boat came up..

QLD to Perth

Mon, 2011-05-23 12:17

I used CBC interstate (03 9357 5557) to freight my 22ft banana boat from the Gold Coast to Perth. The boat plus trailer is just over 8m but certainly doesnt weigh 3 T. There quote was definitly the cheapest at $4500. I had quotes to nearly $8k.

There service and care taken was excellent.

Tip - Make sure the seats/canvases/vinyls are covered - stop the black diesel fumes making a mess/staining.

Was quoted 2k by a boat dealership in Vic about 5 years ago

To ship a fiberglass streaker to Perth, didn't think much of it at the time but seems like a bargain now that I'm hearing quotes of 8k!
It's about 18k to get one shipped from the other side of the world so in my thinking 8k seems pretty fkn steep :)
