No info on soft plastics

No info on soft plastics sorry, but have found that the Celta spinners are awesome on the trout and the ecogear sx40's are my standout for redfin. Both seem to get more fish if there is red somewhere in their colour. This is fishing in the Murray, Donnelly, Warren and Capel rivers. Dont know about the dams?

yea thanks buz i love the celta spinners to one of my best ones stopped working on the blackwood river because i caught to many trout on it and the framework actually got bent!!!

ive never fished the murray it looks good in pinjarra are there any reddies there ive read that theres trout ???

ive got one redfin in the warren on a celta in red colour.

also do you know if there are any good deep pools for redfin in the capel i fished it the other day not a huge flow and mozzies were really bad and it all looked almost to shallow for good redfin but obviusly local knowledge is the key...

and are there any good redfin in the donnelly ive seen a 3-4 kilo rainbow once sunning himself out in the middle of a nice pool there and it currently holds the record for the heaviest trout caught in wa but the website was a couple of years old so its probably been broken but i didnt know...

Those celta's are deadly

Those celta's are deadly even cleaned up on trout over in VIC last year.
With the murray i usually fish up around dwellingup. Have only ever pulled two legal trout up there. Heaps of minature redfin that like to chase your lure but usually too small or skitish to take them, worms work better. Have also caught alot of freshwater cobbler there too on worms. Dont like eating them so usually releae them but kept a couple for my fish tank.

With the capel river the best places i have found for redfin is in the vicinity of the bridge of the bussell hwy. Have to bush bash it a bit, and yes plenty of mozzie repellent. Pays to wear gumboots here. There aren't alot of major pools but i have pulled some decent sized redfin from sections no more than a meter wide and 30cm deep. Always around snags/cover/weedbanks.

With the donnelly i have never caught a redfin. They might be there but not in as good numbers as the warren, where you can target them. THough it is a good trout river, dont seem to get as many trout as the warren but they are on average bigger to XOS ones.

I haven't done too much trout chasing on theblackwood, only twice. Got two on one occasion between nannup and sue's bridge. You must have that river sussed out to wear your old celta out!

But if you want good redfin in a river setting, go the warren. Such a beautiful place for camping too.

the warren is great for camping amongst the karri's and GREAT redfin fishing!!!

seen marron never fished in season. the warren river would fish great with small marron pattern and shaped soft plastics!!!

havnt totlally sussed out the blackwood we went from nannup to bailingup one day and i got about 17 rainbows all about 23-27 cms all on my poor old celta!!!

they bend it so now it wobbles more than spins haha!!!
