Tuna

I finally got some time to get out on the ski Saturday. But after failing my anchor and burley session then running out to the mid 30s and failing to find a baldie. I opted to pluck a few tuna out of the multiple schools getting worked by birds and head home. I landed 3 with multiple dropped hook ups, at one point I had half a dozen good sized fish barrelling at the ski shoulders out and mouths open. Caught on a raider metal and a big john's bucktail. Swell was up but when the wind dropped I managed to run home at 45knts. Not big slobs but plentiful out there and tasty as hell.

Great fun on light gear, but
Great fun on light gear, but if I'm keeping a feed I like to knock em over quick bleed and straight into ice slurry for best quality feed. Good fun chasing birds on the ski.

You would get out to the fishing spots a bit quicker
Than in the yak Rob (and back to shore). Do you have the Seadoo Fishpro, or other?

Yep, no sore knees and back
Yep, no sore knees and back either. I've caught a lot less dhuies than I would've on the yak tho. Need to focus on the fishing more and less the fanging around. Just the 2020 fish pro.
