Ever heard of the Tupps Indispensible ? Its a small very successful trout fly (usually dry) made from pink dyed wool, golden rooster hackle, & yellow silk , but maybe you would like to try the original version.
Wait for it !! THE STAINED WOOL FROM ROUND THE PISTLE OF A RAM !!
How about some more history on certain flies. especially any cooked up for WA fishing ( fresh or salt )

Yes a fella handed me two after watching him fish a small pool of pressured fish that were finicky as hell.
He would flick the fly letting it float around a little with the breeze.
The fish would rise and flick everyhting he had till eventually he hooked one.
I went on to use the tupps in following weeks. Seeing the fish rise to suck the fly down in clear water was heart wrenching.

you can buy tupps dubbing
you can buy tupps dubbing rope for the thorax instead of plucking pubes saving a few kicks in the head.
