Two Rocks 4x4 Beach Access?

Anyone know if the track at the end of Damepatti Drive is still open for 4wding? Came accross the previous topic "Two Rocks Beach Access" and am not sure whether it is still closed or has been opened again.

Cheers

Pretty heavy ranger presence out there still but they leave you alone once you're past Ders, full access in from the Wilbinga track still too

 One of the biggest issues

One of the biggest issues for the rangers is the house on the corner opposite the Dewars Access track. The occupants are serial complainers about people parking on the verge outside their house.

City of Wanneroo want to shift the access track to a little bit further out on Breakwater Dr but its owned by Watercorp and they have public liability issues.

Messing with fate

Yep know the house/ block but not the people. We looked at buying the bare block around 15 years

ago , it had been on the market for 12 months , and I think was around 35k.

If only aye, I was going to buy it and put a weekender on it , or I could have made a tyre filling station

and made a killing!

Me and my family have spent over 20 years fishing and camping in the area and it holds so many great memories

it brings a tear to the eye to think its almost gone, Perths just too big now for it, too many people , most doing the righty , some not.

I just cant go anymore , rangers , hoons, local f$%&   ,ing councils it just does my head in. I head to gero , albany , white point , instead

and spend my money were its appreciated , whilst enjoying the peace and quiet in areas were your still allowed to be a Aussie.

R.I.P.

Rightio, cheers fellas! The last thing I want is some trouble with some ranger so I think it might be worth driving the little bit extra to Wilbinga and trying up there.

The Rangers won't give you

The Rangers won't give you any trouble if you're not hooning around up there, we had a good chat to them a couple of weeks ago when we were there and they said they were just making sure everyone was being safe along the entry track and around the first bowl. Once we were passed there we didnt see them the rest of the weekend.

Its closed for good according to the Wanneroo Mayor.

It was on the  tv the other day and she was banging on about it being a safety issue so the closed the access and any other track from Two Rocks.
