Two rocks fishing club

I was just wondering with a growing population, why no one has thought of creating a local fishing club an how hard it will be to start one!

is anyone keen to look into it .

be good social point I reckon?

Always a great idea and

Always a great idea and usually everyone has a pretty good time  . . .  . . until it comes to the time to actually organise everyone. Then you have to keep everyone informed, have meetings, have committee members, etc etc etc. Having been on a committee (not fishing related) its a right pain in the a*se to keep everyone happy so you end up being quite dictatorial, otherwise nothing ever happens because everyone wants something different. Its bloody hard work and usually a thankless task.

Having been in a fishing club, I have since found that the smaller informal get togethers and fishing trips with the mates are much easier to live with. My two bobs worth !

There is a fishing club based out of two rocks

you pay a yearly membership and pay per trip out on the club boat it's a 30ft ex cray boat  with a max of 8 fishos including skip

mostly target demersals, but troll for Pelagic on the way out. and if weather is not favourable they go for whiting inshore
