The missus went to Perth recently and I asked her to get some two stroke oil for me boat........she came back with quality stuff except it doesnt say anything about using it for an outboard.....says its for brush cutters, chainsaws, go karts, jet skies etc etc..... Will it go alright in me outboard or nay??.....says its for water or air cooled motors....

I'd say it would be fine,
I'd say it would be fine, because we use the same oil for the dinghy as well as whipper snippers/ blowers and so on. Also, the outboard is a water cooled engine, which is what is on the bottle.

Spot on Andy. All of your
Spot on Andy. All of your outddor powered equipment is air cooled and the oil burns off at a different temperature. Do not use it in your outboard. Not worth the risk of damage or the chance of being broken down or worse.
