Two very quiet nights at E-shed

Fished E-shed two nights fri/sat, very quiet. Friday went by myself, sat I had my friend with me which made it a bit better. Didn't even see anyone get anything great at all. I've still been chasing that elusive Mulloway. Anyone get anything I missed?

Yeah I think it does have something to do with the recent full moon!

Did someone get one Thursday Scott? I was at canning bridge Thursday fishing the rising tide.

I was mostly using mulies, no live bait Nomad. But I chucked a Snook on a bit later as fresh bait

I'm going to do that Wes, that's a great idea, cheers!

I might have got one ;-)........ Thursday arvo...Fished for about 2 hours........   The result 55 scalies and one 15.6kg(on certified scales) Mully..

Must of hit him on the head......got him on my first bait out(live scalie) within 10 seconds of it hitting the water...

Thanks heaps again to the guys that gaffed it for me... if your on this site.... Because my misses wasnt to happy about gaffing (stabbing a big hook in the side of a fish) it..

Catch heaps of livies on sundown.keep em alive in a bucket.use them over the night.the rig i use is running star sinker to swivel then 1m leeder.the longer the leeder the more the fish can swim around.which is what ya want.

 my rig, is quite different.

Sun, 2012-03-11 18:59

my rig, is quite different. I have my braid connected to a 2 meter long 60lb mono leader via bimini to GT. attach the leader to the swivel, which i run 60lb leader down to a set of snelled 7/0 Gamakatsu Occy Circles. i have a running size 5 ball sinker between the swivel and snell.
